Dabei muss der Vorschub der Gewindesteigung entsprechen, so dass der Meißel das gewünschte Profil hinterlässt.

Der einteilige Meißel hebt bei geradliniger Schnittbewegung während des Arbeitshubes den Span vom Werkstück ab.
