Bei dem Potentialausgleich handelt es sich nicht um eine elektrische Verbindung des Schutzleitersystems.

Der Potentialausgleich stellt den Ausgleich von Ladungspotentialen zwischen den einzelnen Profilen einer Konstruktion sicher.

Die Erdungsverbindung 8 kann ebenfalls genutzt werden um benachbarte Regale oder Tischkonstruktionen zum Potentialausgleich miteinander zu verbinden.
