Trennen
cut
-
Example sentences:
- Panel sawing (guided circular saw for cutting panels) The return stroke (non-cutting stroke) returns the tool to the starting position.
- During three-stage counter cutting, an initial cut is first made on the sheet material.
- Cutting-edge work benches are not isolated islands but rather interconnected points in a networked production system.
- Laser cutting is a thermal separation process used on plate or three-dimensional materials (sheet material, tubes).
- Sawing is a material-removal and separation process in which a toothed tool (saw) is used to cut or notch solid workpieces with a narrow cut width.
- The inside corner of the angled profiles is provided with an undercut.
- Panel sawing (guided circular saw for cutting panels) This innovative approach cuts assembly time and saves a great deal of space in machinery.

disconnect
-
Example sentences:
- Always disconnect the Light Fitting from its power source before conducting any maintenance or repair work.
- As a result, profiles can be connected in seconds and disconnected just as quickly, with the components then being available for other uses.
divide
-
Example sentences:
- The various steps and applications are divided into chapters.
- while the relative error is the absolute error divided by the conventional true value.
- Room dividers etc.
isolate

separate
-
Example sentences:
- For example, rooms can be separated acoustically using special insulation designed to muffle footfall noise.

- However, a separate hole with a diameter of 7 mm can also be created.
- You can use the isolate button in the camera controls to view the SystemMobile separately from the other elements.
Separating
In manufacturing, separating processes are used to change the form of a workpiece through physical separation by removing Material particles from the original workpiece with the aim of reducing the particle count, mass and volume of the finished part.
Separating processes include:
- Cutting: Breaking down a workpiece using scissors or a blade without chip removal
- Machining: Shaping by removing excess material using tools with a geometrically defined or undefined cutter. Processes include Milling, Turning, Tapping, filling, Planing, Grinding
- Removal: Non-mechanical removal of particles using thermal (e.g. Electrical discharge machining, Laser cutting), chemical (etching, combustion), electrochemical (electro-discharge machining) processes
- Dismantling: Dismantling of components or release of non-positive connections using auxiliary materials (grease, Copper paste) or Forming/Primary shaping procedures (flame cutting)
- Cleaning (blasting, washing)
- Evacuating (emptying workpieces of air or gas)
