Relaxation
Die Relaxation ist ein Vorgang, bei dem die in einem Werkstoff vorliegenden Spannungen abgebaut werden. Die Zeit, in der sich die Spannungen um ca. ein Drittel abgebaut haben, heißt Relaxationszeitkonstante $\tau $. Der Kehrwert der Relaxationszeitkonstante $\tau $ist die Relaxationsrate R.
Spannungen bauen sich in einem Bauteil auf, wenn eine Last einwirkt. Da Systeme immer bestrebt sind, sich im Gleichgewichtszustand zu befinden, folgt eine Relaxation. Diese Entspannung des Systems tritt z. B. durch Kriechen auf. Dabei werden die herrschenden Spannungen durch Plastische Verformung des Werkstoffes ausgeglichen.
Relaxation
Relaxation is a process whereby the stresses in a Material are reduced. The time it takes for the stresses to be reduced by roughly a third is called the relaxation time constant $\tau $. The reciprocal of the relaxation time constant $\tau $is the relaxation rate R.
Stresses build up in a component when a load acts on it. Since systems always endeavour to achieve an Equilibrium, this is followed by relaxation. Creep is one way of bringing about this relaxation, whereby the prevailing stresses are balanced out by Plastic deformation in the material.
松驰

Relajación
