Description: Flanges are used for sealing, Joining and closing pipes, machine components and housings. A flange connection can be undone. Flanges frequently take the form of annular plates that are fitted onto the parts to be connected, for example by pressing, bonding or welding. These plates have several holes, enabling them to be bolted together in pairs. Seals can be inserted between the two flange plates. Flanges are made for a large number of different applications.
