The Potential Equaliser cannot be considered an electrical connection suitable for forming part of a safety circuit.

The Potential Equaliser ensures that possible charge buildups are balanced out between the individual profiles of a construction.

ESD is only ensured if the tread plate has a conductive connection to the contact surface (floor) or an appropriate Potential Equaliser.

Potentialausgleich (m)

Bei dem Potentialausgleich handelt es sich nicht um eine elektrische Verbindung des Schutzleitersystems.

Der Potentialausgleich stellt den Ausgleich von Ladungspotentialen zwischen den einzelnen Profilen einer Konstruktion sicher.
