harden (v)

Dissolved, mixed-in plastic hardens on the bubbles of the support foam.

The model is subsequently hardened in a hardening cabinet until it reaches its final strength.

Each guide can be fitted with up to three steel rollers that glide on a hardened and polished shaft.
