Single-phase asynchronous machine (中性)

Description: Asynchronous machines that can be operated with single-phase AC current are used in applications with lower Power output. The stator in these machines is equipped with an AC winding that generates an alternating magnetic field using an armature that usually has a squirrel cage Design. In theory, the stator windings can be replaced with two counter-rotating DC windings, while the function of the armature corresponds to two counter-rotating rotors. A field that lags behind the main field is needed to start single-phase asynchronous motors. Depending on the machine design, this rotary field can be generated using either Inductance (shaded-Pole motor) or Capacitance (Capacitor motor). Once the machine is up and running, these auxiliary phases can be deactivated and the machine runs in nominal mode.
