clutch (動詞)

Description: Clutches are used when drive train components need to be connected and disconnected as required. They may or may not engage and disengage automatically. A distinction is made between clutches according to the type of: Actuation: Automatic (speed-actuated/torque-limiting or overrunning) and external (mechanical, electromechanical, electromagnetic, hydraulic or pneumatic) Power transmission: Mechanically locked or Friction-based connection Design, for example claw, tooth or multiple-disc clutch Engaging/disengaging is easy to automate in clutches that are actuated electromechanically, electromagnetically, pneumatically or hydraulically. This is not the case with mechanically actuated clutches.
