Flat thread rolling uses two dies that feature a mating profile that matches the pitch of the desired thread, bevelled lead-ins and run-outs and a flat calibration section.

Gegenprofil (n)

Im Gegenprofil werden die beiliegenden Nutensteine eingelegt und das Profil verschraubt.

Das Flachwerkzeug hat dabei ein Backenpaar mit einem Gegenprofil entsprechend der Steigung des gewünschten Gewindes, angeschrägte Ein- und Ausläufe sowie einen geraden Kalibrierteil.
