系列装配

在系列装配（批量生产）中，工作台按装配顺序排列，以便生产对象在输送系统辅助下或在没有输送系统的情况下通过装配系统。所有装配工作分布于多个工作台。

这种方式具有一定程度的灵活性，其中各个工作站分配的工作量或工作范围均可改变，因此无法采用与流水线生产相同的方法来计算系列装配的时间。

不同于流水线生产系统，系列生产系统能够以同样的灵活性响应装配活动变化和不同的变型产品。因此，系列装配能够更好地适应不同要求。

Reihenmontage

Bei der Reihenmontage (Reihenfertigung) sind die Arbeitsplätze nach dem Montageablauf angeordnet, sodass die Objekte mit oder ohne Fördersystem durch die Montagestrecke bewegt werden. Die gesamte Montagearbeit wird dazu auf mehrere Arbeitsplätze aufgeteilt.

Dabei ist die Montagearbeit soweit flexibel, als dass einzelnen Arbeitsstationen unterschiedliche Arbeitsumfänge zugewiesen werden können. Die Taktung des Montageablaufs ist bei der Reihenmontage im Gegensatz zur Fließfertigung deshalb nicht möglich. Gleichzeitig gibt es jedoch eine definierte Arbeitsteilung.

Im Gegensatz zur Fließfertigung können Reihenfertigungen auf Änderungen bei den Montagetätigkeiten ebenso flexibel reagieren wie auf unterschiedliche Varianten. Damit ist eine Reihenmontage besser an unterschiedliche Anforderungen anpassbar.

Series assembly

In series Assembly (batch production), Work benches are arranged according to the assembly sequence, so that objects can be moved through the assembly system with or without the aid of a conveying system. All assembly work is spread out over several work benches.

This approach permits a certain degree of flexibility, in that the amount or scope of work that is allocated to individual workstations can be varied. Consequently, it is not possible to time series assembly in the same way that it is in Flow production. At the same time though, there is a defined division of labour.

Unlike flow production systems, series production systems can respond to changes in assembly activities and different variants with equal flexibility. As a result, series assembly is more adaptable to different requirements.
