Contour Crafting
Contour Crafting ist ein Fertigungsverfahren, das zu den Verfahren des Rapid Prototyping zählt. Es wird vor allem dort verwendet, wo eine bauliche Hülle aus Beton hergestellt werden muss.
Das Bauwerk wird zunächst am Computer entworfen. Anschließend wird der Entwurf an einen Roboter übergeben. Der Roboter spritzt schnell härtenden Beton entsprechend dem Entwurf und formt auf diese Weise die äußere Hülle der Mauer. Dabei bewegt sich der Roboter an einem Portalkran.
Anschließend kann die Mauer mit normalem Beton aufgefüllt werden. Auch die Plätze für die Versorgungsleitungen können bereits im Entwurf vorgesehen werden.
Je nach Roboter können auch vorproduzierte Teile eingefügt werden, beispielsweise Zwischenwände, Dachkonstruktionen oder Stahlarmierungen.
Contour crafting
